Returning to University

This means that a student whose leave of absence has expired wants to continue his studies by submitting the necessary documents during the period of reenrollment for during the certain period.

Application documents

Returning to university after general leave of absence: Application for Returning to University
Returning to university after military leave: Application for Returning to University, a copy of discharge certificate, or a copy of resident registration with your military records (original copy)

How to apply

1. Fill out an application for Returning to University: Graduate School http://grd.kw.ac.kr (Download from the Reference menu)
2. Receive a confirmation from the advisor and head professor and submit it to Graduate School Registrar (#207 Hwadogwan)
*International student must get a sign from the International Affairs Office on the application.

What you need to do after returning to university

1. Course registration
2. Pay the tuition: Print out the tuition bill from the university Website KLAS
3. Report for reservation army
- Subjects: Freshmen, returning students, transfer students (including graduate students), new faculty and staff who have completed military service
- Reporting period: Separate notice
- Preparation: A copy of resident registration or discharge card (not for submission but it is necessary to record exactly the same as the military records in the registry or discharge card)
- How to apply: Log in at the online application (KLAS) → Administrative Service – Click on Reservation Army Report

※ Fill out the specified information exactly the same as the military records listed at the bottom of the discharge certificate. (Among the items in the list, enter “None” if you are not from the division in the field of the military division. Enter the name of your former unit such as “5th Corps Command” or “17th Fighter Wing”)

Notice
- Due to the legal deadline, reports are accepted only within the reporting period.
- Students who have already been arranged for the reservation army do not need to report every semester.
- Those who received mobilization training notice from the Military Manpower Administration before transfer must send a confirmation of formation by fax to the contact information of the Military Manpower Administration specified in the notice to be excluded from training.
